Description
Every single creation by Armand is an inspiring and unique piece of art in their own way. The Demi-Sec is highlight of the brand’s history of pressing delicious wines. For a long time the champagne has only been served to the personnel and guests of the house Cattier. By now it has however become possible to relish the wine outside of the picturesque town of Chigny-les-Roses, albeit in a limited stock of a few thousand bottles which is why you should place your order now!
The Armand de Brignac Demi-Sec is a multi-vintage wine manufactured with the use of several wines from the years 2007, 2008 and 2009. It consists of 40% Pinot Noir, 40% Chardonnay and 20% Pinot Meunier and spends five years maturing. With a higher dosage of 34 grams of sugar per litre the champagne offers a new expression of the brand’s champagne styles. The Demi-Sec is characterised by a first-class aroma explosion that starts in the nose with hints of brioche, quince, caramel, grapefruit, rock candy and compote. The palate is rich with notes of blackcurrant, blueberry, milk chocolate and citrus fruit, leading to a soft and lovely finish that tops the champagne off brilliantly with a touch of cinnamon.
